Privacy Policy

Night Zero (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Kira Intrilogy, a sole proprietorship of Komal Sonara, registered office at 7/B, RamNagar Society, Near Old Railway Crossing, Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 380008, GSTIN 24ARRPP2147D2ZR, acting as the authorised ticketing partner and payment collection agent for the event organiser, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use nightzero.in(the “Site”) to book passes, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian law. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Kira Intrilogy is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.

1. Information we collect

  • Account & contact details: name, mobile number (verified via OTP), and email address.
  • Booking details: attendee names, gender/age band (where collected for entry purposes), pass type, quantity, and promo codes used.
  • Payment data: we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We only receive and store the payment/order ID, amount, status, and payment method (e.g. UPI, card, netbanking).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.
  • Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, or the contact form, and delivery/read status of transactional messages we send you.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and process bookings.
  • To generate and deliver your entry QR pass via WhatsApp and/or email.
  • To verify identity at venue entry and prevent duplicate or fraudulent use of passes.
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, and important event updates.
  • To process refunds where applicable under our Refund Policy.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations (including GST invoicing).
  • To improve the Site, detect abuse, and prevent fraud.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with:

  • Razorpay(payment processing) — booking amount and contact details required to complete the transaction.
  • WhatsApp Business API / Meta and email delivery providers— to send you booking confirmations, QR passes, and updates.
  • Venue security and entry staff— attendee name and pass validity status, for the sole purpose of admission on the event day.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by law or a valid legal process.

4. Data retention

We retain booking, payment, and communication records for as long as required to fulfil the booking, resolve disputes, and meet statutory retention periods under applicable tax and consumer-protection law (typically up to 8 years for financial records). OTPs are short-lived and deleted automatically after verification or expiry.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you may:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time.
  • Request erasure of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer (below) or the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Data security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed/OTP-based authentication, and access controls to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.

8. Children’s data

Our passes are intended for use by, or booked on behalf of, individuals as permitted by the applicable event’s age policy. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond what is necessary for age-band entry verification.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this page with a revised effective date.
